The Floating Vrindavan — rammed-earth pavilions hidden among the trees, with water weaving around the home

Signature Villa · MICASA, Kanakapura

The Floating Vrindavan

A home waiting to be discovered within the forest.

Type Two · A sanctuary hidden within nature

Tucked away amidst dense tropical landscapes, Floating Vrindavan is a retreat that reveals itself slowly — much like the mystical forests of Vrindavan, where every pathway unfolds a new moment of curiosity, wonder and discovery.

Floating within the landscape

Water, woven around the home.

At the heart of the residence, a private water body weaves around the architecture — so the home seems to float within the landscape. Stepping stones, floating decks and intimate gathering spaces create countless places to pause, connect and immerse yourself in nature.

Rather than announcing itself, Vrindavan conceals itself within the forest. Glimpses of courtyards, reflections of water and textured rammed-earth walls reveal themselves slowly — making the journey as memorable as the destination.

Birdsong echoing through the trees

The forest wakes first; light filters down through the canopy onto the still water.

Coffee beside the weaving water

The rammed-earth walls hold the cool; reflections shift across the surface of the pond.

Afternoon

Dappled shade on the floating deck

A book, the sound of water, and the slow discovery of a home hidden within the grove.

Quiet talk as the forest turns to twilight

Gather on the decks as the landscape softens and the water mirrors the last light.

Not a home placed in nature, but a home waiting to be discovered within it.
